Turn Key Real Estate LLC was founded in April of 2016 by Eric and Laura Drummond with a mission to provide personalized service to their clients seeking to buy and sell residential real estate in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. They set out to create a brokerage that stood out from the rest by providing exceptional services, unwavering professionalism, and building lifelong relationships with their clients. Eric and Laura are the proud parents of 4 wonderful adults who never cease to amaze them. They are also blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren. Eric Drummond is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He has a passion for project management, delivering outstanding results, and a keen eye for attention to detail. His years of experience in project management and AutoCad design led him to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. He took a job with Huntington Ingalls working at the Newport News Shipyard as a Planner. His attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks quickly earned him a promotion where he managed several different departments' budgets, manning hours and supplies. He applied his skills to a variety of industries, including construction, real estate, and technology all while continuing to deliver outstanding results. His growing love for construction and real estate led to him partnering with his wife Laura to open Turn Key.
Laura Drummond has been a licensed REALTOR® since October 2005 specializing in residential real estate sales and relocation. Laura was Rookie of the Year for 2006 and has earned numerous yearly sales awards for her production. She marries real estate with over 30 years of customer service. She built her career with an emphasis on professionalism, dedication to her clients, honesty, and integrity. She fights for her clients and does not take no for an answer. Laura earned her Broker’s license in 2013 and a bachelor’s degree in Contract Management in 2016. She applied this knowledge to her work, becoming an expert in negotiating contracts, managing timelines, and ensuring that each transaction proceeded smoothly and efficiently. Laura has worked with a diverse clientele from first-time buyers and sellers to seasoned investors. Her ability to understand her client's unique needs and provide personalized service has helped her build a loyal base of repeat clients and referrals. After numerous years in the industry and working at a couple of brokerages Laura was not happy with the way things were going in the real estate industry and wanted to make a change which led to Eric and Laura beginning their adventure, Turn Key Real Estate LLC.
In 2018, Eric and Laura agreed to property manage a house for a past client who received military orders. They agreed to manage the property for 1 year which turned into 3 years and the creation of Turn Key’s property management division. Property management was created with a focus on providing exceptional service to property owners and tenants. With just one door to manage, they set out to build a business that would stand out in a competitive industry. From day one, they were committed to transparency, integrity, and a client-first approach. Eric and Laura worked tirelessly to establish themselves as a trustworthy partner for property owners, and word quickly spread about their high-quality service. Two experienced real estate professionals with a passion for serving our community. As their reputation grew, so did their client base, and today they have over 50 doors to include, including residential, multi-family, and commercial. Despite its rapid growth, the company never lost sight of its core values. They remained committed to providing exceptional service to every client, no matter how big or small. They invested in the latest technology and tools to streamline their processes and make it easier for property owners and tenants to communicate with them.
Today, Turn Key has an office in Newport News, Virginia staffed with 7 licensed REALTORs® servicing all the Hampton Roads area, Middle Peninsula, Northern Neck, Richmond, Powhatan, Dinwiddie, Williamsburg, and all areas in between. The continued success of their brokerage is a testament to their vision and dedication to their profession.
